Research that has to survive contact with the work
In Swayam Community, research is not a lab and not a program. It is how the community thinks in public: questions from the work, papers and models read with others, and notes that go back into what people are building.
The Research Agenda is the public list of questions. Status is Upcoming until notes begin to appear. Credibility here is a named agenda and a method, not a claim that work has already shipped.
People enter the community through programs. Research is the practice that continues: the questions that need more than one conversation.

How research happens
A question becomes useful when it can be tried, not only discussed.
Pick a question from the work
The starting point is something being built, not a finished paper.
Read with others
Papers, models and methods are read in the open, with people who will push back.
Write a short note
What was learned is written down so it can be shared, challenged and reused.
Return it to the work
The note goes back into the prototype, the company, or the next question.
Research Agenda
A public list of questions the community will work. Upcoming means the question is named. Notes appear as the work happens.

Reading AI research as a practitioner
How should a builder read a paper without being captured by it?
The community needs a way to read, understand and question research without treating a paper as a plan.
- 02Upcoming
Models as systems, not APIs
What does it take to choose, compose and operate models as infrastructure?
Using an API is not the same as understanding capabilities, limits and architecture.
- 03Upcoming
Agents that survive contact with a product
What still holds when an agent leaves the demo and enters a real product?
Agentic systems are easy to show and hard to keep honest once they meet users, cost and failure.
- 04Upcoming
Evaluation that matches the work
How should experiments be designed so the result means something for the thing being built?
Leaderboards are not a substitute for evaluation that matches the product.
- 05Upcoming
From paper to prototype
What is the smallest version of a result that can be tried this week?
Research is useful here when it becomes something that can be tested, not only discussed.

Where new techniques actually matter
Which emerging methods change the work, and which are noise?
New techniques arrive faster than they can be absorbed. The community needs a way to tell the difference.
