Community guidelines

Community guidelines

These guidelines apply to programs, sessions, conversations, and any channel that Swayam Community operates. They sit with the Terms of use.

Effective 19 August 2026. Last reviewed 19 August 2026. Governed by the laws of India.

1. Purpose

Swayam Community exists so people can get better at building AI, together. These guidelines keep that possible.

2. Conduct

Treat people with care. Do not harass, threaten, demean, or exclude. Disagreement is expected. Personal attack is not.

Do not spam, scrape, or use the community primarily to extract labour, leads, or fundraising from others.

3. Other people's work

Work shared in a program or conversation is shared for learning and feedback. Do not copy, pitch, or publish another person's work, data, or idea as yours.

Do not share recordings, messages, or application materials of others outside the intended group without their permission.

4. Honesty

Be accurate about who you are and what you are building. Do not impersonate. Do not present generated or inflated claims as fact in an application or in the community.

5. Lawful use

Do not use Swayam Community to commit an offence, to share prohibited content under Indian law, or to assist unlawful activity. The prohibited-use list in the Terms of use applies here in full.

6. Non-commercial nature

Swayam Community is not a marketplace. Do not turn sessions or channels into unsolicited selling. Expert contribution is not a paid advisory hour unless a separate written agreement says so.

7. Enforcement

We may warn, limit, or remove a person from a program or channel if these guidelines are breached. Serious or repeated breach may end participation.

To report a concern, write to grievance@swayam.community or hello@swayam.community.

8. Changes

These guidelines are effective from 19 August 2026. Updates will be posted on this page.
